Thanks for visiting us on the web! Sanctuary Church is a new growing *non-denominational Christian church in Escondido, Ca, San Diego North County.
Recently, a friend asked me, "Why did you decide to pastor a new church here in Escondido, Ca, San Diego North County?"
I thought that was a good question, because the why needs to come before the what. The answer to this question is found in our mission statement:
We exist to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus.
... which leads to FREEEEEEEDOM!
pThis video accurately portrays what Sanctuary Church is all about...
As Christians here in North County, that's the motivation behind everything we do, because we have learned that as we grow in our relationship with Jesus, we experience LIFE and that to the full (Jn 10:10)! Our desire is that you would also experience this life filled to overflowing with peace and joy, purpose and meaning.
Come on out this Sunday to charming Escondido, Ca and experience it for yourself!
Pastor Paul and Danica Bartelme
* Non denominational - In Christianity, non denominational churches are those not formally aligned with an established Christian denomination, or that remain otherwise officially autonomous. This is the case for Sanctuary Church. This, however, does not preclude an identifiable standard among such Christian congregations who worship Jesus. Non denominational congregations may establish a functional denomination by means of mutual recognition of, or accountability to, other Christian congregations and leaders with commonly held doctrine, policy and worship without formalizing external direction or oversight in such matters. Non denominational churches are not uncommon in San Diego North County, and in Escondido / San Marcos as well.
